Time: 1:30 pm – 8:30 pm
1) Introduction to Universe & Astronomy
Slide Show – 1.5 hours
2) Introduction to Sky Observation
Slide Show – 1.5 hours
3) Introduction to Telescopes & Astrophotography
Slide show, Demonstration – 1 hours
4) Evening Sky Introduction and Telescope Session
Demonstration, Observation – 2 hours
Total – 6 hours
Workshop Fees: Rs 15,000/- (upto 100 students) Rs. 150 /- per student extra if number of students are more than 100.
All participants will get certificate
Setup and arrangements by Khagol Vishwa, Sanshodhan
1) Telescopes: 8″, 5″ Reflector, 4″ Refractor, 104 mm Cessegrain, 20 X 50 Binoculars, Tracking mount for demo
2) LCD Projector, Sound System, Laser
3) Transport for setup and volunteers
Expected arrangements from school / college
1) Hall or space for workshop including electricity supply
2) Ground or Terrace for Sky watch
3) Volunteers for local arrangements, crowd management and Telescope handling
